The following home remedies are very helpful when it comes to treating the dark skin on the neck. It is very safe to use these natural ingredients as there are no side effects and they are totally inexpensive.

1. Almonds

Almonds contain vitamins that are essential for skin and hair health. It also nourishes the skin and helps in treating pigmentation and discoloration issues. This versatile nut can be used in various ways in order to treat the dark skin around neck.

How to Use?

  • Make a paste by mixing one teaspoon of each almond powder, milk powder and honey
  • Apply this paste on the pigmented areas of the neck and leave it on for half an hour
  • Rinse it off with water and repeat this at least 3 to 4 times a week
  • You may also use warm almond oil to massage it on the neck to improve blood circulation in that area
  • It moisturizes the skin as well as makes it glow
  • Soak four or five almonds in water overnight and grind it into fine paste in the morning
  • Apply this paste on the neck area and gently scrub for few minutes

2. Aloe vera

  • Sensitive skinned people may dilute the lemon juice before use and apply it on the neck
  • Avoid exposure to sunlight even after rinsing it off
  • Also, you may mix equal parts of lemon juice and rose water and repeat the same procedure

6. Oats

  • Take two teaspoons of coarsely ground oats and add one or two teaspoon of tomato puree

  • You may also, mix one tablespoon of powdered oats with enough milk and honey to make a thick paste
