1. Vegetable Glycerin

Vegetable glycerin is an effective remedy for keeping the tongue moistened and avoids burning or irritation. It speeds up the healing process and also gets rid of bad breath.

How to Use?

  • Soak a cotton ball in vegetable glycerin
  • Apply it on the tongue
  • Wait 5 minutes
  • Brush the tongue with a soft-bristle toothbrush
  • Rinse with warm water
  • Do this twice daily for several days
  • You can even use a glycerin mouthwash 2 or 3 times a day
2. Apple Cider Vinegar

If there are signs of infection or oral thrush on the tongue, it can be treated by using apple cider vinegar. It has anti-bacterial property that prevents the infection from getting worse.   • Put 1 tablespoon of organic, cold-pressed coconut or sesame oil in the mouth
  • Swish the oil around the mouth for about 10 minutes

6. Hydrogen Peroxide
