Nosebleeds Home Remedies

What exactly is a nosebleed? The name itself is pretty self-explanatory. Its the condition when blood starts to flow profusely out of the nostrils. Its also known as Epistaxis. They can look very scary but are generally not fatal for the body. The nose consists of many blood vessels which run throughout the length of the nostrils. These vessels are very fragile and can easily burst due to various factors. They are fairly common in both adults and children between the age of 3-10. There are two kinds of nosebleeds, an “anterior nosebleed” and a “posterior nosebleed”. The former happens when the blood vessels in the front of the nose break and bleed. And the latter is when the vessels in the deepest part of the nose rupture. In posterior nosebleed, the blood flows down the throat and can be very fatal in certain scenarios.
