1. Unripe Papaya
Unripe or green papaya is one of the best cures for irregular periods. It helps in normalizing the periods and ease the pain and bloating too. However it is not recommended to be taken after the periods start. It serves as a strong and effective emmenagogue and helps in contraction of uterine muscle. It is suggested for women with irregular periods to eat papaya for few months to notice results.
Ginger is a super-food which cures many ailments in the body. It is greatly effective in treating menstrual problems and also deals with menstrual pain. Boil freshly ground ginger in a cup a water for 5 minutes. Add one spoon of honey and drink it thrice a day. Do this regularly for two or three months to see results.
3. Jaggery and Turmeric
Turmeric is loaded with emmenagogue properties which help in easing the pain during period and also stimulate timely periods. It has anti-inflammatory properties which relieves menstrual pain. Take one to quarter spoon of turmeric with jaggery and add to a glass of warm milk. Add a spoon of honey and drink it every morning for a couple of weeks to see the results.
Cinnamon’s warming properties show positive results in curing menstrual problems. It is lesser used spice but when used regularly, it stimulates the periods and eases the cramps during periods. It contains hydroxychalcone which is really effective in regulating the level of insulin. Boil one spoon or cinnamon in a glass of water for 5 minutes. 5. Sesame Seeds

9. Aloe vera

Take two spoons of aloe vera juice and mix it along with honey and consume every day. This procedure must be done in the morning on empty stomach for a couple of months until the results are seen.
Parsley is yet another herb which is found effective in curing menstrual problems. It is considered to be useful in curing irregular periods. It has excellent diuretic properties and also helps in getting rid of the fat deposits from the body. Boil one cup of chopped parsley leaves in two cups of water for 5-10 minutes. Allow it to cool and strain the mixture. Squeeze a lemon in it and drink it every morning.
